In 2004, Loudthought teamed up with an innovative start-up company breaking new ground in the insurance industry. Based in Dallas, the company offers insurance-by-the-mile programs, allowing drivers to pay for coverage based on how much they drive. Seeking a name that was memorable and representative of their unique products, the firm selected "MileMeter". In addition to crafting a new name for MileMeter, Loudthought provided the company with a new tagline - Auto Insurance Buy the Mile - as well as a logo and brand.
