Blue Eagle Credit Union (Formerly Roanoke Postal Employees Credit Union)

Roanoke Postal Employees Credit Union, a Virginia-based financial cooperative, recently partnered with Loudthought to rename and rebrand the credit union. Originally founded as a credit union for postal employees, Roanoke made the decision to transition to a community charter and change its name in order to serve a wider pool of members. They felt that this change would better position the credit union for growth in the coming years. Through the Loudthought creative process, Roanoke Postal Employees Credit Union became Blue Eagle Credit Union. With a new charter and a fresh new name and look, Blue Eagle Credit Union is experiencing record growth. In the words of Blue Eagle Credit Union CEO Jeff Thompson, “we have a brand that really connects with our entire membership and will successfully carry our credit union through another 60+ years."
